1. Add your Platform Account
Open Accounts ▸ Add Account. Choose YouTube and enter your credentials. VidPlanner securely manages your session profiles.
2. Automatic Target Detection
Once your account is added, VidPlanner automatically detects your associated channels (Targets). They will appear immediately in the account tree on the left sidebar.
3. Set up a Template Set
Open the Template Manager. While you can customize your patterns, VidPlanner automatically uses {file_name_clean} by default to ensure your videos always have sanitized, professional titles even if you don't set a custom template.
4. Ingest your Videos
Drag and drop video files into the video list widget, or set up a Watch Folder for automatic detection.
Pro Tip: Right-click any video and use Mark as... to manually override its status (resetting failed videos, skipping, etc.).
5. Start Automation
Review your metadata, click Apply Template, then hit Start Automation. Watch VidPlanner do the heavy lifting!
